I would not recommend Macklin Motors Kia Edinburgh because multiple errors in processing led to numerous calls both pre and post purchase. We had to chase for a small refund due to us and for settlement to be made on our trade in loan. Additionally, the mileage was falsely advertised by a considerable 3000 miles.

I'd recommend Macklin Motors Kia Edinburgh to a friend because I was very happy with the team that delt with all aspects of getting my car , always polite friendly and helpful especially Arran who was my first contact and who predominantly took care of the deal

My experience at Macklin Motors Kia Edinburgh could have been better because, upon collection of the 18 month old vehicle, we noticed that the Locking Wheel Nut key was not in vehicle and neither was manual. Not a huge issue but salesperson assured us he would order them and send them out 'special delivery' the following week. That was Feb 21st.
I email every week and he has replied with differing answers every week - they had arrived and he was about to post that day, wrong ones were sent, they were sent to wrong address, another one sent to wrong address, I've to bring in car and they will install a whole new set, he'll arrange a service appointment, I chase appointment, he says service dept will call me, I chase appt, he says he will chase service dept. I've called twice, he is on another line.
Meanwhile, I cannot take the wheels off my car should I have an emergency, which is not ideal.
A missing key to locking wheel nuts is not a huge issue but this constant back and forth and what, I suspect, are actual lies, has undermined my confidence and faith in Macklin Motors. I have made one final call today to ask someone to call me back so this can be resolved. I've been holding off for eight weeks to do this feedback survey to give him a chance to solve the issue but I've lost patience now.
Sorry, I don't like to leave negative feedback but I feel the fella is possibly lying through his teeth which makes me doubt everything he ever said about the vehicle, including the full service the car was to be given before we took ownership. Is that even possible if they couldn't take the wheels off? The sale was made and customer service seemed to stop - that's never great for repeat business.
I will take car to a local dealership for a check and servicing.
