My experience at Bristol Street Motors Hyundai Banbury was memorable because the sales man Lewis was superb no fault at all but when I picked my car up the heating and fans were not working. Lewis said he would get it in asap. I picked it up on the Thursday and was not booked in until the following Wednesday. That's fine but they needed a part which did not turn up till Friday so had no car for 3 days. Then was told it needed another part so had to go in the following week for another 2 days. I understand these things happen but I was a little upset as I paid for car on the Monday and didn't pick up untill Thursday why wasn't it checked over before I collected. I would have happily left it a few extra days to be sorted but instead I was having to drop it of and arrange to borrow a vehicle while mine being fixed. I could have taxed car a few days later but instead of I lost a month as I taxed it on collection for obvious reasons and lost a month as it was the 31 of the month. As I said Lewis was very helpful and jack in repair was also good and I know it's not there fault and it got sorted but for the first 2 weeks of me owning car it was in garage more or I couldn't drive it if it was cold because windows wouldn't demist due to fan and heating not working. Overall it would have been nice to just get in car knowing it was ready to go. I've never had a new car and was very excited and it took all my savings up. I know it's not most expensive one one for court but it was alot of money to me and I was very excited about having It. So maybe the cars should go through a more thorough check once they have been bought and before collection to avoid disappointment to the customer. But I will say I couldn't fault any of the staff the were 100% good at there job
