Bristol Street Motors SKODA Derby

I would not recommend Bristol Street Motors Skoda Aylesbury because it was very hard to contact the people dealing with the sale.The salesman dealing with my purchase misinformed me on various occasions.For example when I test drove the vehicle the low fuel warning light was on, very unprofessional to sell a car like this.When I pointed this out to the salesman he said " We wouldn't let you drive away with no fuel, we will put some in" He gave me the strong impression that Skoda Aylesbury would be paying for the fuel, not the case he charged me for it on the invoice.
Also I was on a tight schedule to pay for and pick the car up, so I explained to the branch manager and salesman to inform me immediately when the payment for the car was completed.They never let me know and I had to constantly phone them to confirm payment was complete.When I say constantly they were never available to answer my call.The salesman did not seem to know much about the vehicle, for example I asked if the boot could be unlocked and spring open on the key fob, he said it unlocks but does not spring open you have to manually lift boot up, incorrect it does unlock and spring open, you merely have to hold button on key fob down.I have subsequently informed the salesman that the torch and umbrella that comes with the vehicle was missing.I will post them to you he said, I am still waiting, given the apathy of those concerned I am not very hopeful of receiving these items.So in summary I like the car but was not impressed with the service from Skoda Aylesbury, I bought the car in spite of the service from Skoda Aylesbury not because of the service.

I was pleased with Bristol Street Motors Skoda Aylesbury and would recommend them because I received a great attitude from Bristol Street Motors Skoda Aylesbury's staff especially from Dan Teasdale My Sales Advisor, my English is not good he did so that I understand everything that interests me for the car and all the documents. I am very pleased and I will recommend Bristol Street Motors Skoda Aylesbury everyone I know.

My experience at Bristol Street Motors Skoda Aylesbury could have been better because of poor preparation of handover. Travelled 130 miles to collect car. On our arrival poor greeting as the member of staff who we expected to meet was apparently day off which wasn’t what was originally communicated to us. From there there was some confusion of who would deal with our handover. Very slow to start, lots of fumbling around, unclear communication. Dealer was unable to trace the finance money that had been sent across as they were looking for wrong amount and wrong name. When given keys to check over the vehicle we noticed that both keys had flat battery’s. Asked for this to be resolved, again a lot of fumbling. When keys were handed back they still weren’t working, a mechanic had to come out to rectify problem. More waiting around. No clear communication as to where to leave our old car for trade in, no one even bothered to check over it which was disappointing. After this we expected the handover to be complete however the v5 documents for the car we were buying were missing. This caused further delays. Eventually the dealer had to go to the post office to get the relevant documents. Finally after a very painful and exhausting handover we were able to leave. To make up for the 4 hour wait we had in branch we were gifted a full tank of fuel which was appreciated but with an almost 3 hour return journey to get through we were just eager to get away from Aylesbury. An unfortunate experience which could of been avoided with better preparation and communication.

Bristol Street Motors Skoda Aylesbury were fantastic because I was able to look at and test drive the car in a non pressurised way with any questions I had answered.
It was a thorough handover too.

The experience at Bristol Street Motors Skoda Aylesbury was great because Dan took every care throughout the purchase to make us feel comfortable and informed us about every aspect of the car. The after sales support was top notch and puts our minds at rest that if we have any questions or problems we in safe knowledgeable hands. At no point during the process was there any pressure to buy the car. Dan was courteous and easy to speak with and allowed me to have a comprehensive test drive in the vehicle. A big thanks, we shall recommend Škoda aylesbury to all our friends and family.
