Hendy Group is a new and used dealership group which has been established since 1859, and now operates 25 sites across the South Coast including locations across Devon, Hampshire, Kent, Surrey, West Sussex and East Sussex. Hendy Group represent a number of brands including SEAT, Ford, Kia, Mazda, Honda, Ford Transit, Iveco, MG, Renault and Suzuki in new and used car and van sales. In addition to this, Hendy Group dealerships also offer an extensive range of manufacturer-approved Aftersales services including servicing, MOTs, repairs and parts. They also offer assistance with Motability, van or car leasing and finance, and fleet and business customers are welcome to discuss their options at the dealerships.

As well as their franchised dealerships, the Hendy Group also operate two Hendy Car Stores, based in Exeter and Portsmouth, which have a large stock of quality used vehicles.

Westover Land Rover Salisbury wasn’t able to complete the work, I am awaiting a recall, and they weren’t able to valet the car which was disappointing, they have said they will do it on the next visit.

My experience at Westover Land Rover Salisbury could have been better because they wanted my car and talked me in to an upgrade. Having done that I had to insist on a loan car until mine arrived (which I still hadn't seen). Went to collect it after more than 2 weeks to find it hadn't been cleaned. Was promised numerous calls which never materialised. Went to collect it eventually (today) and the poor man on reception who was being nice and chatty with me was told off in front of me for talking too much!!!!

Hendy Mazda Eastleigh were great because the front desk staff were helpful quick very polite. Unfortunately when I had my vehicle returned to me, there was greasy fingerprints on the inside of the windscreen,together with the front passenger foot well was covered with debris of the airbag replacement. Not particularly impressed.

My experience at Hendy Mazda Crawley could have been better because: 1. I was continually hassled by letter, email and a telephone call over the upcoming service/MoT for my car when there was well over a month to go before the expiry of the MoT (The first email was on 7 June when the MoT was valid until 2 August - I responded that I would book in adequate time). This continued even after I said I was aware of the expiry date of my MoT and the need for a service and would book the car in for the required service in adequate time. 2. I was offered a service based on the age of the car and the expected mileage (which was very close to the actual mileage at the time of the service) which I accepted. However, after the service was complete I was informed, from the vehicle health check, that the following items were due: a) Engine coolant change due. b) Power steering flush due c) Gear box and back axle oil change due d) Brake fluid change due e) Air filter change due. Given that the car had always been dealer serviced, including previously by Hendy, these requirements should have been obvious prior to this service and should have been included (at an extra cost of course) in the service offered. I now have the inconvenience of having the car out of service for another day to pick up on these items. 3. When I picked up the car I was informed that the front brake pads were 75% worn. After I commented that they should have been changed I was told that this would only be done after the owner authorised it and they had tried to call me on the day of the service to get that authority but could not get through. The missed calls on the my mobile phone show only one call from Hendy at that was at 1755 on the day of the service - 5 minutes before they close; hardly an adequate time to change the brake pads! Not very happy and will be going elsewhere for this additional work and future servicing/MoT.
