I would not recommend Gowrings Ford Reading because of a few things:
- The experience and service when purchasing the car left us feeling very dissapointed. We were rushed to pay the deposit and once that was paid, we found out things about the car which, had we known them before, we probably would have considered another car from another garage.
- The unwillingness by the staff and garage to help fix the problems, both on the day of purchase and after, which they should have sorted out before even selling us the car. (No manual, no spare key, no functioning antenna)
- The multiple discussions and negotiations with the service staff and their managers and suppliers of Gowrings Reading to rectify the problems.
We like the car very much but would not recommend our friends and family bought one from Gowrings in Reading.

I would recommend Gowrings Ford Reading because they are efficient at letting you know when your car is due it's MOT and / or service. It's done in a prompt fashion and you the car back the same day.

My car was sourced from this dealership under the Motability Scheme. In all my dealings with Johnsons Ford I have found that the staff are friendly, helpful and patient - and their coffee is lovely. But seriously, my experience is and has been very positive. I was sent a video showing the checks that had been made to the vehicle and although I have no knowledge of motor mechanics I was able to understand what was being relayed to me. I would without hesitation recommend this dealership and its service bay to anyone.

I'd definitely recommend Johnsons Ford Sutton Coldfield because they are professional, efficient, courteous, do what they say they will do, respectful, patient in answering questions, sort out problems quickly, Manager gets involved as necessary to help with any problems- all this over many years.
