The car was only booked for a while you wait MOT. I arrived at 8.15 for an 8.30 booking.
The car was on the VW all in plan which includes the MOT. But apparently they have to wait for authorization before they can do the work ! The authorization came through at 10.15am two hours later. But even then it was not finished until 12.25pm
Looking on my dashcam when I got home the car did not go into the service bay until 11.35 Three hours after I arrived.
Total wait time 4 hours for a job that took them 45 minutes.
Why was this not pre-authorised, they knew I was coming in. But to make me wait for 4 hours for the sake of a £55 authorization is appalling service.
I'd recommend Johnsons Volkswagen Liverpool to anyone because I have been with VW for about 30 years and the service has ever changed excellent experience fro. start to finish see you next year thank you.
