I'd recommend Hendy Mazda Crawley to a friend because the receptionist was very polite and friendly and explained everything to me, including the reason that not all of the work required could be completed that day.

My experience at Hendy Mazda Crawley could have been better because:
1. I was continually hassled by letter, email and a telephone call over the upcoming service/MoT for my car when there was well over a month to go before the expiry of the MoT (The first email was on 7 June when the MoT was valid until 2 August - I responded that I would book in adequate time). This continued even after I said I was aware of the expiry date of my MoT and the need for a service and would book the car in for the required service in adequate time.
2. I was offered a service based on the age of the car and the expected mileage (which was very close to the actual mileage at the time of the service) which I accepted. However, after the service was complete I was informed, from the vehicle health check, that the following items were due:
a) Engine coolant change due.
b) Power steering flush due
c) Gear box and back axle oil change due
d) Brake fluid change due
e) Air filter change due.
Given that the car had always been dealer serviced, including previously by Hendy, these requirements should have been obvious prior to this service and should have been included (at an extra cost of course) in the service offered. I now have the inconvenience of having the car out of service for another day to pick up on these items.
3. When I picked up the car I was informed that the front brake pads were 75% worn. After I commented that they should have been changed I was told that this would only be done after the owner authorised it and they had tried to call me on the day of the service to get that authority but could not get through. The missed calls on the my mobile phone show only one call from Hendy at that was at 1755 on the day of the service - 5 minutes before they close; hardly an adequate time to change the brake pads!
Not very happy and will be going elsewhere for this additional work and future servicing/MoT.

Hendy Mazda Crawley were helpful because they were efficient and kept me updated.
