I would not recommend Farnell Jaguar Bolton because of a really mixed experience which depends totally on which service advisor you talk with.My experience with Martin on this occasion was much improved but I have been plagued with a series of electrical issues that have taken long time periods and huge uncertainty on cost and time off road.The contact is hit and miss and often prompted by me not the service team.The car unreliabilty in relation to electrics has forced me into using Farnell as a main Jaguar agent .I had been offered a free valet and a reduction on service following previous serious service shortfalls so again I have used on the basis that Farnell wanted to demonstrate excellent service.It was an improved service than previously but with the exception this time of Martin the team lack empathy and understanding which very quickly prompts frustration and uncertainty.
As my local jaguar agent I just wish they would take appropriate training actions although I recognise they cannot be held wholly responsible for the unreliabilty of the car,thats an issue for the manufacturer.
My experience at Farnell Jaguar Bolton was memorable because I have bought a number of cars from them and the staff and service is always of an extremely high standard, courtious, friendly and professional. I have just recently recommended a neighbour of mine to consider purchasing a new car from them also.
