Latest Testimonials

I would not recommend Stebbings Car Superstore because I found the attitude to selling vehicles was very “high quantity, low quality”… which is unnacceptable for even a “car supermarket” You are selling vehicles…regardless of make or scale of performance they are to be relied on and cherished by owners. I found that even my salesman hadn’t properly inspected and ensured my vehicle was spotless both inside and out.. to be specific… The interior was so dirty (hadn’t even been cleaned, to the point I thought the “P” parking break button had worn away and needed replacing. After cleaning the car with some basic cleaning equipment I realised it was just dirt on the button. Furthermore, dimples all over the bodywork, every time I spotted one, another would appear from a different angle.,, this should have been inspected and sorted at the least prior to viewing. Wheels and alloys in terrible condition… again as a large dealership you should have pride in presenting at minimum a clean and tidy car. Finally, and this is the cherry on top. I took my vehicle for an inspection based on what I had seen so far at my local specialist and found within two minutes, battery needed replacing, which was causing electrical faults with breaking and SOS call out system which I’m hoping will at the very least be covered with my warranty for 3 months. In summary, as a first time customer, I’m immensely disappointed in the attitude and attention to detail by stebbings, the salesman was polite and frank with me which, to an extent i appreciated… but the line is blurred between honesty and just not caring if a vehicle sells because what you see is what you get. Especially when someone is forking out circa 20k for a car like I did! Thank god I did not finance it as I wouldn’t want monthly payments on a vehicle which I’m having so many issues with after a month of ownership. To prospective buyers! - Stebbings do offer a competitive price. As a car supermarket would… but for reassurance and sound of mind. I would absolutely spend the extra in future to buy from a more reputable dealer or main dealer where you know any vehicle that comes into their care is loved and revived to a fresh “like new” standard both cosmetically and mechanically. No one wants to spend thousands on a vehicle which is their pride and joy only to have their love tarnished with dents and engine/electrical faults.
