About Norfolk Motor Group
Founded
in 1969 the Group now employs over 65 staff and has an annual turnover
exceeding 21 million pounds in 2018. Currently, we operate from four locations
in Norwich.
The
continued and planned expansion of the company has seen the franchises
represented change over the years, but the core of the business is now based
around Kia, MG Motors, Isuzu and until recently Suzuki franchises. We
specialise in family cars, 4x4s, SUVs and WAVs (Wheelchair & Scooter
Accessible Vehicles) offering an unrivalled choice of vehicles and value for
money. We are Platinum Motability Partners across the dealerships.
In
1999 the company acquired the Kia franchise, which has enjoyed phenomenal
success and has more than doubled the company’s sales volumes of new and used
cars. In 1999 they sold around 5,000 cars in the UK, in 2018 they will sell
95,000 plus units.
In
2007 the all new Kia cee’d was launched, the UK’s first car with 7-year’s
warranty as standard which has since been rolled out across the Kia range and
helped to set the standard other franchises are chasing.
We
are always in the upper quartile for our respective zone and national Kia
league tables. In 2008 we were awarded the ultimate accolade, “Platinum Dealer
Status” for the UK and Europe.
In
2016 we won the Kia Dealer Excellence Award for the UK. Kia is manufactured in
Korea and is part of the Hyundai Group of companies. Kia is on a major growth
programme and has set itself the target to be one of the world’s top five motor
manufacturers before 2020. Kia also picked up many awards along the way
including in 2017 the best Grand Turismo for the Stinger, the Green Fleet
Awards for Niro and Optima and many more.
New
for 2018, we acquired this iconic franchise, the great British name of MG
Motors, relaunched by the Chinese company SAIC, who are the 41st largest
company in the world fortune 500 list. We aim to make this brand as successful
as Kia and Suzuki and the franchise has great plans to introduce new models and
new technology later this year, with their Electric Vehicle and Plug In Hybrid
range. Since our short time with the
franchise we have exceeded all sales expectations and are set to sell over 150
new units in 2018 and are aiming for at least 200 new MG in 2019. MG Motors now

for 2018, we acquired this iconic franchise for the award winning, industry
leading Isuzu D-Max Pickups, the What Van ‘Pick up of the year 2018 and 2019,

Year Award and the Professional Pick-Up & 4x4 Winner for Most Reliable Pick-Up, making it ideal
for Norfolk and for NMG given our heritage. This vehicle is affectionately
