Carbase is a family-run business based in Somerset with four used car and van dealerships across the county. As Bristol’s largest used car supermarket, they frequently stock used cars and vans from a huge range of reputable brands such Alfa Romeo, Honda, Nissan, Vauxhall, Volkswagen, BMW, Citroen, Renault, Toyota and many more with styles ranging from small city cars to 4x4s and SUVS.
Carbase offer low cost car servicing, MOTs, tyres and batteries from their dedicated autocentres and as an RAC Approved Dealer, the technicians carrying out work on your vehicle are all inevitably RAC Approved so customers can rest assured that their car or van is in safe hands.

Will definitely not be using Carbase again which is a shame as last time we had a really good experience buying from them. Car was advertised as having Apple Car Play but this wasn’t activated and therefore cannot use - to get activation requires £240 of work from Seat dealer. Attitude was fairly patronising when I identified this issue the day after purchase and salesperson suggested multiple times that I just needed to use a cable to connect phone to car despite my asserting that it needed an activation code. Once we established that I was right an activation code was needed I was advised to get a quote from a Seat dealer for this and they would speak to aftercare team to resolve the issue. I provided the quote the same working day and Carbase then took three weeks to give me any kind of response despite my chasing three times during that period. Eventually replied saying that despite agreeing they had advertised the car as having Apple car play they would not be paying for it. If I was being cynical I would suggest waiting me out to ensure we were out of the 14 day return period. Honestly I think this is false advertising and so I am seeking legal advice on how to proceed with the issue. Car interior wasn’t very clean also. Overall very disappointed by the whole experience and would rather spend my money elsewhere.

I'd recommend Carbase Brent Knoll to anyone because they are professional, non 'pushy' yet informative.
Particular thanks to Will, for his patience & explaining different aspects throughout our purchase of our Hyundi I 10.
Just one thing, I would like to mention is about engaging the clutch when starting the vehicle--- not everyone knows this !!
