My experience at White Dove Skoda has put me in a position of operating a vehicle which DOES NOT have the ability AS ADVERTISED & STATED IN THE OPERATING MANUAL of setting any sort of charging period beyond the time at which it is 'plugged in'. Like most people who run an electric car I'm am very keen to take advantage of off-peak tariff to charge the vehicle. To this end I changed my tariff to Octopus Energy's 'GO' where between 00.30 and 05.30 electricity is approximately one third of the price - NOT AVAILABLE TO ME UNLESS I BECOME NOCTURNAL. This was FUNDAMENTAL to my decision to move to the Kodiaq - I now find that the advertised function is not available trashing the economics of my purchase. Why on earth would I ever have another Skoda, still less recommend one to a friend ?? Please DO PUBLISH this as a warning to others similarly misled.
My experience at White Dove Skoda was memorable because Aled was so helpful and not at all pushy. Other dealerships we had been to had not been overly helpful, but Aled was knowledgeable and answered all of our questions.
