I recently bought a Peugeot 2008 and while the car itself is lovely to drive and suits my needs, the buying experience left me with mixed feelings. The salesman was a pleasant young man—friendly and easy to talk to—but unfortunately, a few issues cropped up after the sale.
Firstly, the car was missing a parcel shelf, and I wasn’t offered any help to source a replacement. It felt like a small detail, but one that mattered. More concerning, however, was discovering just three weeks in that I needed two new tyres. The tread was down to 3mm, which I feel should have been flagged or addressed before handing the car over.
I made sure the car I traded in was in the best condition possible, so I expected the same level of care in return. It’s disappointing when that trust doesn’t quite go both ways.
Overall, I’m enjoying the car, but I’d advise future buyers to double-check the finer details before driving off. A bit more transparency and aftercare would have made all the difference.

The experience at Perrys Nelson Used Cars was good because of Brad (the sales person). Brad made testing and buying the car very easy.
