My experience at Park's Toyota St Boswells could have been better because the salesman did not offer alternative vehicles which might with hindsight have suited us better. He did not divulge the very high road tax until I asked fairly late on in the purchase process. The only information he could offer on the plug-in charging was the Zapmap website, but offered no help on the charging process or comment on which local charges offer the best or cheapest charging. It would have been pleasant if he had offered us coffees during our visits. He referred to a servicing deal but offed no detailed explanation. I have never bought a car before with such a tiny level of fuel in the tank, and in this case a tiny charge in the battery. Parks should be ashamed to offer such a poor service compared to the friendly dealings we have had for many years under its previous private ownership. Very sad!
I was impressed with the warmth of the welcome conidering we had simply pulled in off the main road to have a look at a replacement vehicle. Andrew Gray the salesman was very helpful,. knew his vehicles and when I told him that I was looking for a used vehicle with perhaps 15,000 miles on the clock over 3 years immediately pulled together a very satisfactory package. Having driven the car for over a wek I'm very happy with my choice.
