I just like Toyotas, and Parks Toyota were very helpful in trying to find me a replacement vehicle after my crash. Although in the end, I located the vehicle via the Toyota website and asked the dealership to arrange a test drive.
Park's Toyota Carlisle were really helpful and I'd recommend them because the gentleman who dealt with us Gordon Turnbull was attentive, polite, humorous. Certainly knew everything there was to know after being with Toyota for many, many years. Gordon was our go to man, certainly the man for the job. Happy with the service overall.
Generally, I am happy with the car.
So saying, I have been a little disappointed with the preparation of the vehicle. Firstly, the parcel shelf was badly damaged and didn't fit. This was replaced by a new one from showroom stock. The passenger side front mat is missing. I am waiting for a replacement that has been ordered. I paid to have the car treated with "SUPAGUARD". Although, the exterior appears to have been satisfactory finished, the door and boot surrounds have residue from the treatment around them. Very disappointing. On further investigation of the car, I have been a little concerned as to why it appears that after the car was registered new in June 2024,it has been off the road since October 2024? It was serviced in January 2025,since when the mileage hasn't increased up to the point that I took possession of the car on August 5th 2025.Why?
Lastly,my Christian name is Eric, WITHOUT a K, on the end. Just a minor irritation, but it has meant that I have had to send the Registration Document back to DVLA, to have it registered in my CORRECT NAME.
My experience at Park's Toyota Carlisle was cracking because they were able to provide what I was looking for without great difficulty.
