My experience at Lawtons of Tadcaster was positive because staff were extremely helpful even when I had a problem with the car the service staff rectified the problem promptly. Everything from the test, purchase and picking up the car went smoothly. I would definitely recommend this garage to family and friends.

From the moment I called Lawtons of Tadcaster I was treated like a valued VIP. I live in Scotland, so on payment of a small deposit I was able to reserve the car. I was told I could drive to Tadcaster to inspect the car, test drive it and decide if I wanted to purchase it, in the knowledge that my deposit would be refunded if for any reason I decided not to buy it. Because I was driving from Scotland, I was also able to purchase the car with a simple debit card transaction, rather than having to make a bank transfer for the full amount in advance. Stuart Davis looked after my wife and I from the time we arrived. He was very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful in leading us through the purchase, which included the trade-in of our previous car at a very fair price. The transfer of documentation was relatively quick and simple. All our questions were answered clearly. Servicing of the car will likely be carried our by our local Ford Dealer in Scotland but Stuart gave us the card of their experienced Service Manager telling us not to hesitate to contact him If we have any technical problems we would like to discuss. After a week or so we also received a very nice letter from the Managing Director, Dean Lawton, thanking us for our business. A really nice touch. All in all, my wife and I were so impressed with Stuart Davis and the staff at Lawtons. So much so that if we plan to upgrade to another Ford car, Lawtons of Tadcaster will be our first point of contact thanks to the great experience we had this time around.
