I would not recommend Johnsons Skoda Birmingham because after less than 100 miles my vehicle needed brake pads after i was assured it was serviced before collection.

The experience at Johnsons Skoda Birmingham was great because it was friendly, helpful, attentive, and, supportive. The whole process from viewing the vehicle that interested me, to the test drive, to the purchase was easy. I was treated like a member of the family.

I would not recommend Johnsons Skoda Birmingham because although everything up to the sale was fine, when I got home and created a Skoda ID to log on in the vehicle, the vehicle would not recognise the ID I had created. I tried several times, following the instructions with two keys in the vehicle, but it would not accept the ID. Johnsons did not tell me about creating an ID nor explain that this was needed to ensure a full owner experience. I called Johnsons and, as the sales person I had dealt with was not there, I spoke to the manager because I had talked to the local Skoda dealer (Wings Peterborough), and they were unwilling to help without charging me. I asked Rhys to talk to the local dealer to get me some help, and he said he would, but then I heard nothing back. Wings told me that the sales person should have set this up with me on handover, but Rhys claimed this was not part of a used car sale. I now have a car which tells me that the applications need updating, but I cannot make it work, and Johnsons are not helping me. I also asked for the service record to be emailed to me, and was promised it would be done, but I have not received it. This has soured my experience. I still cannot get the vehicle to recognise the ID I created. The impression this has given me is that having made the sale, they are now not interested any more. Hence I would hesitate to recommend Johnsons to anyone else.

My experience at Johnsons Skoda Birmingham would have been a lot better if after taken possession of the vehicle I found out it had damage to the chassis and tail gate which I discovered through my own research which I wasn’t made aware of at point of sale,the attitude so far is of the management team has been not what I expected from a reputable firm.very disappointed and upset to say would be an understatement
