I explained I am a financial and investment consultant and the sales person insulted my intelligence by lying saying that under FCA guidelines they HAVE offer me GAP, Alloy Wheel and paint insurance and go over it. I said I was not interested but he said under FCA rules he has to. Complete bull. I know the FCA inside out!
Also when I said I am after a test drive and a quote but will put a holding deposit down so I can accept the quote after sleeping on it and test driving other cars from other dealer. However the sales person was pushy always talking about buying the car and asking me to sign agreements. When I explained I will sign this when I pay if I want the car he god in a mood, snatched the paperwork from me and told me to come back when I want to buy
I did buy the car two days later as I liked the car, but not the company and not the sales person.
Diabolical. I will never use these again for cars or services - which is a shame as I really want an Alfa Romeo soon so I will use the dealer in Southampton.
When I had a Mazda a few years ago I loved the team - great to be with and absolutely honest. That's why I took my RX8 for its annual service and repaired. But not with this new team.
I was going to refer them to a family member. But I won't now as I know they will push and force her to sign agreements.

They processed the preparation of the car and the payment for it very well and smoothly arranging things such as test drives. The car was prepared to a very good standard and was more than ready for the long drive we had after. Would highly recommend.
