Group 1 Kia Coulsdon

I would not recommend Group 1 Kia Coulsdon because they did not provide what I purchased. I purchased the car over the telephone having found it on their website, having spent a long time on the phone completing paperwork and having to listen to finance details that I would not be taking out as I was paying cash, I received a call back to let me know the advertised mileage was incorrect by nearly a 1000 miles! I was offered a free tank of petrol - not sure that quite covers it, but I agreed, I just wanted this done. The car was driven to my local Group 1 Kia dealership in Maidstone for the handover. On arrival, I was advised that the spare key was lost and they would need to order another. I then spent an hour signing the forms I had already signed online when I purchased the car over the telephone - it was tedious, time consuming and unnecessary and made me late for an appointment. I then had another load of forms to sign when I came home, with the incorrect mileage still stated on the forms and I've since realised, the incorrect model of my part exchange. One of those forms was to confirm I had insurance when I collected the car. The sales advisor told me the car would be insured for 5 days from collection, so I hadn't swapped my own car insurance over. This insurance was not taken out on my behalf and I therefore drove it home uninsured! I then had to chase up the spare key, which took a further two weeks and another visit to the dealership to get it coded. The advisor who delivered the car was friendly and tried to be helpful and sympathetic.

I was happy with the service at Group 1 Kia Coulsdon because I have used this garage for a very long time and have been happy with the service I have received.

Group 1 Kia Coulsdon were helpful. The sales process, and in particular Jacob who dealt with my sale and part ex was clear, transparent and straightforward. Happy with the overall experience that I had from this main dealership which seems well managed and well run.
