I would not recommend Waylands Bristol because my customer expectations were managed badly. I had to chase to get an update and suggest how to proceed. The level of autonomy of the sales person was low and the customer journey poor. Always under promise and over deliver has always been my approach and with transaction it was the opposite. I am very pleased with the product and price however.

My experience at Waylands - Volvo Cars Bristol

I would not recommend Waylands Bristol because synching phones/apps/chargers seems to an important part of new car handover these days. The car was parked for handover in a Wi-Fi blind spot which seemed to throw the salesman on his first handover. He sought help but none was forthcoming. A busy time but I see this as weak management. The car seems to have developed a fault with its Wi-Fi/Blue-tooth connectivity and is no longer communicating with its charger (which came with the car). This leads to daily notifications from the charger to ‘check my car’ and sometimes it is difficult to release the car from the charger when I want to drive away. I am worried that the car is not being charger correctly which costs me more but also might be damaging the battery. The earliest I could get it booked it to be looked at is 12th November. I had hoped for a more responsive service when buying a £70,000 car.

I'd recommend Waylands Bristol to a friend because they were very friendly and knowledgeable with a great selection of cars. I did not find them pushy or salesy - I have not bought a new car for 10 years and they spent a lot of time with me helping me find the right car for me and my family. I could not fault the experience and Adam was incredibly patient and kind. I would highly recommend them.

My experience at Waylands - Volvo Cars Bristol

Waylands Bristol were great because Adam our sales person but we didn't meet till the day of collection as we live some distance away was very attentive during the sales process and when we arrived to collect the car everyone was very nice we had drinks offered even the new car manager came over and had a little chat. The car was very well presented and very clean on collection. We had a good drive home with no issues and plenty of battery life left. The only thing we were not impressed about was when we got home and lifted the back to get our dogs out low and behold the dreaded Volvo boot strut issue surely this should have been picked up and been replaced before collection now we have to go to the trouble of getting sorted under the warranty with our dealer who also isn't just round the corner not to happy with this really spoiled what should have been a good day.

My experience at Waylands - Volvo Cars Bristol

Waylands Bristol staff were good because a very friendly face welcomed me into the show room. Explained everything to me. As I live in Scotland I flew down the night before pick up and stayed in a hotel. All costs were covered by Waylands. This is unheard of and everyone I’ve told are very impressed.
