My experience at Vertu BMW Motorrad Exeter

I'd definitely recommend Vertu BMW Motorrad Exeter to friends and family because, very easy to deal with, I had a good experience buying the bike but also afterwards, the service light came on 2 days after purchase, not because of mileage but as it was 12 months from last 600 mile service.
Bike went back and was serviced, but also a minor issue with the rear wheel was picked up, great attention to detail there thank you.

My experience at Vertu BMW Motorrad Exeter

The sales team and parts guy were exceptional but I complained about a rattle (like a tin can rattle). The service engineer tried it on the road and couldn’t hear the rattle but I can!
He said try upping the revs, instead of going low but it’s when you open it up, and I can still hear it even with ear plugs in.
The sales guys now don’t seem bothered and their engineer isn’t worth ask8ng again; so I will carry on with the rattle.

I’m not that happy with this result or the mass of paperwork involved to take the bike!

I would not recommend Vertu BMW Motorrad Exeter because the presale details were not forthcoming. I asked for pictures to be sent but they were not until morning of the sale. On arrival, the bike was not cleaned properly , still had personal effects from previous owner in storage compartments and it had a flat battery and only 80 miles of fuel.

My experience at Vertu BMW Motorrad Exeter

The bike was not clean, the pillion foot pegs were missing, no history provided with the bike. Although there was of someone else’s bike! It had allegedly been through the workshop before collection, no record of what work was carried out. Very disappointed with the follow-up service from the salesman. I will be advising anyone that will listen, NOT to use BMW Motorad Exeter.
