I'd recommend S J Rayner Cars Ltd because they had the car I wanted and it was like new even though it was a 68 plate. Steve was very helpful and pleasant. Matthew was equally pleasant and helpful on the handover day. A really good experience in all.

When i phone up about the car they told me to come down then i look at the car so i pay for it the next day they phone me to say the car reddy to be picked up

I'd recommend S J Rayner Cars Ltd to anyone because I have bought several cars from them and never had a bad experience.

My experience at S J Rayner Cars Ltd was generally good. I found the vehicle on an internet search a I was looking for a specific make and model (Citroen C5 Aircross) which I found at SJ Raynor Cars. I live approx 90 mins away so viewing would be tricky but Steve, the sales person I spoke with, said that arrangements could be made to drive the car down to me. A Whats App video was sent showing both the inside and outside of the car. I funded the car separately, paid for it and the car was delivered as promised and the man that drove the car down then drove my part exchange vehicle back to their garage / sale room in Kidderminister. So far, so good. However, following this a few problems arose. I drove to Swansea and an alert came onto my dashboard stating that Adblue was required without 100 miles and without it the car would be impossible to start. I rang SJ Raynors and was advised to buy some Adblue and to put it into the car. I did this but it made no difference apart from the car telling me that the car would be impossible to start in 25 miles. I managed to get home, rang SJ Raynors and was advised to take to a local garage due to the distance. My local garage could not assist and advised me to take to the Citroen main dealer. I checked with SJ Raynors and was told to proceed. The dealer assessed the car and advised that the Adblue injector as faulty. SJ Raynors agreed to fund the replacement. The part was in stock and within a few hours I was back on the road. A few days later however the same warning message appeared on my dashboard. My heart sank. I rang Raynors and again took to the dealer. They advised that the DPF filter was faulty. The trouble was that I was due to go on holiday the next day and planned to use this car to take the family. Raynors in fairness paid for taxi rides back and forth the airport for us all and when I returned the car was ready (albeit while on holiday I started to worry that I had bought an expensive lemon). I returned from holiday on the 24th April and today is the 13th June and there have been no issues since. However buying a new car with these issues is a concern and I dont know how easy or not it is tell if a car has these issues before they go wrong so I find it hard to judge whether selling a car with these issues is the fault of SJ Raynor or whether these issues are difficult to see. I have waited a few months before writing this review as I wanted to make sure, in the circumstances, that I had driven the car a few thousand miles before writing it. The car has been fine since. In fairness SJ Raynors did handle the aftercare well as they paid for the repairs and taxi rides but in the circumstances it may have been good practice to provide an extended warranty for free to at least provide some extra assurance for the remainder of the first year with the car.

I'd recommend S J Rayner Cars Ltd because their customer service is outstanding.
