I was pleased with McLaren Glasgow and would recommend them because - great service again from Deane and the team at McLaren Glasgow.
I would not recommend McLaren Glasgow because the whole after sales experience has been awful. On my way home from collecting the car I had an engine system fault warning which I then had to take to McLaren Manchester to get fixed which took 2 weeks. During these 2 weeks I was not offered any sort of loan car and I had to constantly keep chasing Manchester McLaren for updates and it seemed as though other customers were getting priority over their cars being looked at over mine. On top of this as part of the deal I was supposed to be sent private plates and touch up paint which required me to keep contacting Glasgow McLaren for weeks as they kept forgetting to send them out and also kept getting my address wrong (in the end it took 5 weeks for my private plates for the car to arrive). In summary many issues after buying the car and the impression I got from the salesman was that he didn’t really care much after the car was sold.
I'd suggest McLaren Glasgow to a friend because I found all the team they're incredibly helpful professional and productive. Very happy customer thank you again to all the team at Mclaren Glasgow.
My experience at McLaren Glasgow was positive because the team are first class. A particular mention for Steven Mitchell and Deane Brown, who looked after me and my family from our initial visit to browse vehicles. McLaren Glasgow are very welcoming and accommodating. The browsing to handover process took just one week, that's a first for any car purchase I've ever made. Everything was seamless and quick with daily phone calls to update me on progress. Every detail on the car was explained to me, the finance agreements were annotated and explained. Each meeting was pleasant and friendly. Some car garages sniff at younger kids, not here. The guys at McLaren enthused my son while I dealt with car specifics, showing him racing models, organising refreshments, small gifts, and even letting him reveal the car from the secrecy blanket. I am very happy with my purchase, and can't recommend the team at McLaren Glasgow highly enough. Very knowledgeable, very thorough, very charming. Thanks.
