Lookers Colchester Kia

I would not recommend Lookers Kia Colchester because

1] I Would not subject anyone else to the "other item" sales pitch that customers are made to endure before they get to a test drive a car. I do not believe that this it is a requirement of the FSA before test driving a car!! Despite the sales manager's assurance I know the difference between a sales pitch and statutory requirements and in this case it was a sales pitch. If it was statutory it would have been presented once it had been established that I wanted to buy the car and needed to consider finance and extras. At that point I would probably have been a lot more receptive.

2] When I picked up the car it had to be jump started - twice! No offer of checking it out! "just needs a run" I was told. After several very long runs I had to wait 2 hours for the RAC to jump start the car before getting a competent Kia dealer to change the defective battery. The delay meant I also missed an important business meeting

3] The car was purchased from Lookers because the price was at a level I was prepared to pay, it was a Kia from a Kia main dealer and I wanted to buy a car that day. If I had had more time I would have gone somewhere else.

4] The mileage shown on the Kia website was totally wrong and misleading as was the mileage I was given over the telephone

5] I received a letter from Lookers thanking me for buying the car and reminding me that it needed to serviced at 12,500 miles. Even that was wrong - the service book shows the car should be serviced at 20,000 miles.

As a main dealer shouldn't you know the service intervals! or is that yet another sales pitch!!

I would recommend Lookers Kia Colchester because the Kia sales people were really helpful. They did not rush us and answered every question we had. I would without hesitation recommend them to friends and family and would buy another car from Kia.

I would not recommend Lookers Kia Colchester because when we went to collect our car there was a dent in it which had apparently been made by the valeters but only just noticed by the garage. This wasn't too much of a problem and we were satisfied with Lookers assurance that they would send someone out to remove it and we were told the repairer would contact us on the following Monday (this was Friday). We waited until the Wednesday before chasing this up as we had received no call and then had to wait until the following week for the repair. The repair was fine but we would have preferred this was sorted without us having to chase it up. It did seem as though now they had our money, they weren't so worried about us as customers. There has been no follow up sales call either.

I would recommend Lookers Kia Colchester because i had the car on my driveway nice and quickly and the staff at lookers were very helpful and answered any questions u had

I would recommend Lookers Kia Colchester because the salesperson was very helpful and explained everything we wanted to know, and very helpful in the whole deal.
