Hendy Car Store Portsmouth

I would not recommend Hendy Car Store Portsmouth because service was absolutely unacceptable. When I purchased the car it was absolutely filthy from inside. prior to buying i was told it would be clean and ready for me. Surely it was not which than resulted in me paying £120 cleaning cost which I shouldn't be paying.
I was given 3 month warranty but on the day i was told by Keelan, sales person he will email me than tomorrow. It's been now 2 weeks I'm still chasing for warranty documents. When I ring the Hendy car Portsmouth to speak to keelan or the manager ADAM they are always busy so the person on the phone will take all my details and say one of them call you back but never received call from them. Absolutely poor service. Never recommend anyone.

I would not recommend Hendy Car Store Portsmouth because Having gained three quotes from other dealers I agreed to buy from Hendy Portsmouth. After paying the balance of purchase I received a call in the evening confirming that the car was planned for delivery the next day. Then told that they had not included the Road Fund Licence in the quote and to get delivery the next day I would have to pay an extra £195 to dvla. I had assumed that this had been included in the verbal agreement with the salesman. He then made the excuse that I was purchasing a secondhand car and despite telling me that the only difference between a pre-reg and a new car is the start date of the warranty. My previous experience of Hendy quotes/invoices show the cost of the road fund licence included in the total cost. Had that been the practice of Hendy Portsmouth I would not have purchased this vehicle but one with a more competitive price locally. I will be more careful next time but not with Hendy.

Seamless sale and handover by salesperson. Car was extremely well prepped and presented. Highly recommended dealership.
