My experience at Group 1 Volkswagen Lowestoft could have been better because we were told that the vehicle would be ready for a certain date and that we would get a phone call to let us know. We did not receive a call so had to call them ourselves but had no response. I did end up going to see the vehicle whilst it was being prepared for us and saw that there was a big chip underneath the headlight, I mentioned this to someone in sales and they said that they had already spent enough money on the car and that they would not be prepared to fix it .Also, they knew we were on a tight schedule to get the vehicle and they did not keep to this. I am not very happy at all and I would like someone from head office to get in contact with me urgently to discuss this further.



I would not recommend Group 1 Volkswagen Lowestoft because I didn't feel that the level of service and communication was of a satisfactory level.
I was told to inform Chelsea when I had made my final balance payment, which I did by email. I requested confirmation of receipt, which I would have expected anyway. I was aware that Chelsea had a couple of days off, but spoke to someone the morning after making the payment and they were going to check and get back to me the same day, but didn't. I then phoned the following day as well, and was assured by the lady who took my call that Martin would definitely get back to me to confirm that my payment had been received, once again I heard nothing. Sorting the delivery date out was a bit muddled, the only confirmation I had that the delivery was going ahead on the scheduled day was an email from Chelsea on the morning of delivery to tell me that she would be with me in about an hour.
The important thing is that I am very pleased with the Tiguan, but the level of customer service, in my opinion, has fallen short of what I would have expected.
The car was delivered to me with a chip in the windscreen, which was pointed out to me at delivery, but I was told that I would be contacted on Tuesday 22nd April once Chelsea had spoken to your repair company, but once again no communication at all 3 days later. If you are selling what I would consider to be a premium product, I would expect the customer service to reflect this, sadly not on this occasion.

The experience at Group 1 Volkswagen Lowestoft was good because the vehicle I called to see had been sold but Marcus Broad and Martin Demark were exceptionally helpful in finding another vehicle and without them you would not have had a sale.
