It’s easy to talk the job down. After all, we have 24-hour news channels to fill, supply challenges, potential stagflation and, more than anything, its November. Wet, cold and dark.

So, it was a real tonic to see so many winners celebrated at the Motor Trader Awards last Wednesday at the Grosvenor Hotel, London. I’d personally like to thank Mel Horsford and the team at V12 Vehicle Finance for their hospitality.

There were many awards, and it was great to see so many winners amongst our used car customer satisfaction, review, and lost sales clients. Congratulations to John O’Hanlon and his team for winning Dealer Group of the Year. Wayland’s also won the Franchised Dealer Digital Initiative of the Year Award – again, well deserved.

We work very closely with Vertu Motors, and it was great to see Claire Duns and Liz Cope pick up the Best Franchised Dealer Website Award. Beth Aynsley also picked up the Best Franchised Dealer Social Media Award. Great to see the Vertu team, led by Robert Forrester, celebrate their success.

When it comes to winning the Franchised Dealer Customer Care Award it was well deserved to see Chapelhouse recognised.

It was also exciting to see Trust Ford sweep up three Awards, recognising great strides made as employer and also in used cars. And John Clark picked up the Skills and Development Award.

There are (literally) too many others to mention but congratulations from all of us at JudgeService to all the Winners.
