I would not recommend FJ Chalke Kia Yeovil because I suspect I haven't received what I have paid for, or have paid for something I had anyway. I was called back to the dealer and asked to arrange an appointment for today to have mudflaps fitted, though I thought they were in place when I collected the vehicle, and queried it at the time. Having driven an hour to get there I asked if they could check why the warning light was always on for the rear centre seat. I had the keys returned within 20 minutes and told all was done, and that they could not find anything obvious wrong with the seat but that I could book it in to have it looked at. When I went back to the car it seemed there was no difference to when I had arrived. I went back into the showroom to be told eventually that there was no difference and that they were indeed the mudflaps that I had arrived with and that they should not have called me in.
We all make mistakes but today I have been lied to, and now wonder what else I haven't received that I should have - having paid £700 for internal and external treatment, and mudflaps mats and boot-liner, with the dirtiness of the interior windscreen when I collected it, I now doubt that I received the treatment, and (as the car was used when I bought it) I wonder if the mats, boot-liner and mudflaps were not already with the car when I took it for a test-drive. £22,000 might not be a lot of money for some but it is the most expensive car I have ever purchased, and while I like the car, the dealership has left a level of distrust that means I would not recommend Chalke's to anyone, in fact I'd probably advise against it.
