My experience at MYLSON Ltd

My experience at MYLSON Ltd could have been better because the first time I contacted them, I was given an appointment time, I travelled there (26 miles one way) to be told the keys for the car I wanted to view were elsewhere so it was a wasted trip. I then went back again a few days later and test drove the car. Agreed I wanted the vehicle & part exchanged my car. Finance all agreed, deposit paid. I came home and received a call a day later telling me they have no log book for the vehicle and so I’d be unable to transfer my private plates over until they applied for a new log book. I was annoyed but accepted this. I was told the car would have a full valet and service before I collected it. I arrived, completed paperwork, received the keys and a bottle of wine (very nice gesture). I then noticed a chip on the windscreen on my way home, rang Mylson & they said they’d cover it on a 6 month warranty should it get any worse and put this in writing to me via email (never received this). I wanted direct debit tax which I couldn't have as there was no log book which meant having to find a further almost £100 to put 6 months tax on the vehicle. I arrived home and had a look around inside the car to discover it absolutely had NOT had a valet, the roof of the boot was covered in dog hairs, there was stale raisins in the back door panel (about 20 of them), loads of sticky sweets in the hole of the middle rear seatbelt holder, chewing gum in the other rear door panel, dirt in the centre console, makeup on the WHITE roof & sun visors - I was absolutely disgusted!!!!! I then received a letter weeks later from the DVLA saying Mylson had sent a cheque for the log book but not wrote £25 in the box, only wrote it in words so it all needed re-doing again. This delayed the log book for a further 4 weeks! So 8 weeks in total almost to receive my log book.
I would not buy from Mylson again or recommend them. Cost me a lot more money than was needed & my car STILL says “service due” every time I turn the engine on!
Not the service I expect for a £14,000 vehicle.

MYLSON Ltd were great because I was left to browse no pushy sales person, when I decided which car filling in the finance form was easy and quick, kept me informed, very quick to sort my new car out ready for collection, would definatly recommend

The experience at MYLSON Ltd was fantastic because there was no pressure. The guys know what they are talking about and are not just out for the sale. Customer service and aftersales has been fantastic. Highly recommended. Cant say i have ever spoken to a better dealer, main dealer or independent.
