  • We are looking for a part-time Social Media and Marketing Executive.


The Company

  • Based in Harrogate, we are a market research company, using our specialist insight and online tools to help our clients manage their customer satisfaction. An ideal role for a talented and enthusiastic writer.


What We Offer

  • 12 hours per week across 3 days
  • Harrogate - office based
  • £12 - £14 salary per hour based on experience and skill set

The Role

  • This is a key position helping to drive awareness and ultimately leads into the business and to ‘put our name out there,’ helping develop our new marketing strategies.
  • The role involves writing blog posts, social posts and other copy and posting them to agreed social media. You’ll have strong written and verbal communications skills, an awareness of SEO and eye for a good story.
  • You’ll use web analytics to track social media response and build project-based reports that summarise both qualitative and quantitative insights, data on a prospects online journey and analyse the performance of campaigns.
  • The ideal candidate will have a creative eye for detail and the ability to create and design landing pages and campaigns using Adobe Photoshop & InDesign.
  • Working within a medium sized growing business it is important to be a real team player, whether that be hands on activities or gaining more information helping other departments perform more effectively.


Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Writing, managing, monitoring, and enhancing paid and social media performance
  • Working with our MD to develop and define marketing campaigns through creating campaign briefs and designing landing pages
  • Developing integrated media and social media content & publishing
  • Creating content/copy for press releases, marketing materials, and case studies
  • Developing web content, e-shots, and sales collateral
  • Content creation and curation for social media platforms
  • Actively promoting the business on social media (LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook) using our social media management platform
  • Organising and managing organic and paid search activity
  • Reporting management and analysis of weekly and monthly KPI reports
  • Managing the leads process using our CRM system (ZOHO)
  • Maintain awareness of social trends, innovations, and developments and report on these in monthly meetings together with potential ideas


Required Experience, Education, and Training

  • Proficiency with computers, especially content management software, social media platforms, MS Office (word, PowerPoint and excel are essential), SEO keywords, and a basic understanding of HTML
  • Understanding of Google Analytics
  • At least 2 years’ experience within social media, digital and/or B2B marketing
  • Proven experience writing content and use of analytical skills
