I Have an NHS lease car fiat 500 which was due for its second service. I had previously had my car serviced at the garage before and the service was good. This time I booked my appointment with a girl called Lauren over email 2 weeks prior. When I turned up on the day Lauren was at the desk and was not expecting me in. I told her I had the email on my phone to say I was due in today. Clearly she had forgotten to book me in but said it was fine and asked if I wanted to wait which I said I would. An hour passed and I got up to ask how much longer they thought it would be. Lauren then told me they had had to contact my lease company for authorisation which had obviously took a while, but no body thought to tell me this? She said it would be at least another hour. I'm not sure how long services normally take but over two hours surely is a long time for a customer to be sitting waiting with out pre warning them first? I asked if there was a courtesy car I could have so that I could leave and come back and fortunately there was one left. 2 hours passed and I had to ring the garage myself to see if the car was ready to which they said it would be another half an hour. So had I continued to wait in the garage I would of been there over three hours with what I presume would have been with out any update from the staff who were sat chatting at the desk. Over all I just feel that was not a good service and I was not impressed with the attitude of the desk staff. My car was nicely cleaned which I was happy with though and the man who gave me my keys back was lovely. I also received no paper work or anything from the desk staff as proof of my service which I got last time. Miss Alice Nicholson
