My experience at Wessex Garages Nissan Bristol could have been better because Although Rikki was charming, polite and very attentive and did not apply any sales pressure, as soon as I had bought the car he seemed less interested in ensuring the handover went smoothly. I got the feeling that he had more pressing concerns. The battery was not fully charged although we had agreed a time for me to collect so I had to wait 20-minutes to have sufficient charge to drive home. I have yet to receive a receipt for the full payment and the Nissan Connect app does not work because it does not recognise the VIN. I was told the previous owner had not removed the app. This worries me on two fronts. Firstly, I understood that the car was a pre-registered model from Wessex stock. If that was not the case I should have been told the correct history of the vehicle. And secondly, I am concerned that someone else can have access to the car through the app. I expect a car to be sold without such incumbents. Rikki is responding to my concerns in a professional manner but why should I have to remind him over a week later to resolve the issue and only now, after a stern email has he contacted Nissan Connect customer services who i hope will fix this. I have yet to receive the order form promised.
