My son purchased a car from used direct in August and so far it has been back in the workshop 3 times as they seem unable to rectify the fault Charles Hurst sales staff in used direct boucher road are all sweetness and light when trying to make a sale but seem unable to take ownership when something goes wrong with the vehicle They did agree to change the car for another one however they have refused to refund the £1800 deposit against the new car elffectively meaning that my son has lost his £1800 We have gone back to the showroom numerous times and asked to speak to a manager but he wasnt available we were promised a call back but surprise surprise this never happened I have now had to escalate the matter to the finance company I will never deal with them again and definately wouldnt recommend them as my 20 year old son is now without a car and £1800 out of pocket and still has to make his payments each month for a car not fit for purpose

My experience at Usedirect Belfast could have been better because . Before sales service was excellent with the salesman Chris being both competent friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The problem in my case is with their after sales. There are two small issues outstanding which three weeks after purchase I am still waiting to be resolved. The main problem is lack of communication. After numerous phone calls with promises of call backs which never happen these small issues have become increasingly frustrating.I eventually tried to contact Ricky Ayre (Franchise sales manager)by phone on three separate occasions over a period of three days, on each occasion he wasn't available and I was promised a call back. No call back was forthcoming. If this is typical of their after sales I symathise with anyone who has a major issue after purchase. Unless they can redeem themselves this is not a company I would be recommending or dealing with again.
