My experience at Part Exchange Centre Baskingstoke was not satisfactory because since purchasing car we are still after 7 weeks waiting for a car that hasn,t got a fault. The car went wrong after 4 days and now 7 weeks later car still not repaired and are waiting for dealer to call to arrange replacement.

My experience at Part Exchange Centre Baskingstoke

My experience at Part Exchange Centre Baskingstoke is not very good because the car is not working properly. On taking it back sales person did not want to hear what was wrong but did give a date four days later to bring it in. I explained I have work commitments and needed it back by 12pm. It was agreed we would driop car off 8.30 am, I was told it would take about 1 hour for mechanic to look at it. At 12.15 the car was not ready it did not return to the dealership untill 12.30. I was told parts would be ordered and I would be contacted. A week later we had heard nothing so I phoned them, I was told they will chase up the parts. Another week went by so I phoned again requesting to speak to the manager who said my car had been overlooked and he promised to get back to me in a few days. They are waiting on parts soemthing to do with the starter. As a way of apology the manager said they will fill up with petrol and get a courtesy car for my use. Two days later the manager phoned back as agreed saying they had the parts but are now waiting for the return of the courtesy car from another customer. Reasearcing on the web there is a common fault with Honda Jazz and the gear box where the box has to be replaced. I worry I am being fobbed off with them saying it is a smaller fault than it really is, particulary as there is 5-6 weeks of warranty left. The manager has been curteous and polite on each occasion.
