Mike Brewer Motors has been
trading since 2012 and were originally based in the Centre of Sheffield.
Having outgrown the original dealership, they are now located close to J34 of
the M1, occupying a 64,000 sq. ft Nationwide Distribution Centre. They
specialise in selling quality nearly new family hatchbacks, small cars,
saloons, MPVs, SUVs, 4x4s, Pickups and more recently a range of Hybrid and Electric
vehicles. With over 200 vehicles in stock they offer brands such as Audi,
BMW, Ford, Hyundai, KIA, Mazda, Mercedes Benz, Peugeot, SEAT, Toyota and
Volkswagen. Mike Brewer Motors is an RAC BuySure Approved Dealer, which
means all of their cars will have gone through the RAC approved 82-point
preparation check, which also includes a full data check and receive a full
valet prior to handover. They have an on-site smart repair facility and
industry trained technicians to ensure all vehicles are prepared to the highest
standard. Delivery is available to any UK Mainland address and
appointments are recommended for site visits prior to viewing and test driving,
where possible.
I would not recommend Mike Brewer Motors because: -
1. Car wasn't properly checked before my arrival - when I pointed out a fault with the fuel cap, the sales rep told me to get it sorted via kia main dealer under the warranty - it is expected of the garage to sell you faultless car at this price.
2. I understood Road tax to be £170. It wasn't until I'd paid for the car that I was told it was going to be £560!! Sales rep should've pointed this out before my journey.
3. Tyres not all same and low tread which means I will have to get them replaced soon too. Sales rep should have advised of this before my journey and had this resolved.
4. When I emailed the sales rep with a query, they didn't respond.
5. Biggest problem I had was I had asked for any checks to be made on my px car prior to my journey. I sent photos of my service history through in advance of my visit, as requested, for this very reason. Sadly the whole situation was very stressful as the sales rep decided to make me call various dealers to check on a 'missing first service' - this could have been done before my travel, as I'd asked, however, the sales rep put me through this stress on site.
The whole process was very stressful and caused delays.
I'd definitely recommend Mike Brewer Motors because no pressure....given cooling off period....direct approach by pleasant salesperson who took my concerns seriously and answered my questions.
Explained things at a measured pace.
