My experience at Hendy Car Store Exeter could have been better because, picked my car up on Saturday 13th April, drove to Bristol to visit my mum in hospital, got to Bridgewater junction DPF light came on. Called hendys Monday morning they were unable to offer a courtesy car, so had to take a days holiday on the Thurs to go for repairs, had to walk around shops etc to wait for return of car, drove to Bristol the next day Friday, to visit my mum in hospital, got as far as collumpton DPF came on again, called several times went to answer machine so left a message at 1pm no call back. Called them today Monday 22nd, to book back in, not able to again give me a courtesy car can't get to work without transport, spoke coral who was trying to sort things out still not resolved , suggested someone pick my car up from work and return once done unable to offer this service, no call back to resolve this situation I need to visit my very poorly mum in hospital sat but not going to risk taking my car, I can't believe I've not even had the car 2 wks and having to go in for repair twice will be going into hendy after 4pm Tues 23rd myself with possibly handing the car back and contacting the finance company to try find me another car absolutely gutted as it's my dream car but feel very let down
I'd suggest Hendy Car Store Exeter to a friend because of their friendly professional service. The car we bought was exactly as advertised. When we arrived the car was ready for test drive and all paperwork was ready to go. We drove the 540 miles home to Scotland without a hitch. We were replacing our car that had been written off in accident. We found our perfect replace online at Hendy's. Marcus was great from our first phone and kept faith with us as the insurance companies tried out patience. We finally flew down two weeks after our first call and after an hour we were heading home to Scotland. Easiest experience buying a car we have had.
