I noticed an Almera advertised on their website for £2k. After visiting their garage and test driving the vehicle i negotiated a discount and paid a deposit. When i returned to work (within an hour) i noticed they changed the price to £2,400! When I requested my deposit back they refused and said the £2k was an 'internet only' price and i should've said i wanted an internet price when i visited! Confused? Eventually i had to take them to court! On the 18th of April 2012 at Northampton County Court this dreadful garage lost. The judge ruled they were in breach of contract and ordered them to refund my deposit + costs + expenses. It was widely reported in the Northampton Chronicle on page 19 on the 19th of April.
