My experience at Perrys Leyland Vauxhall could have been better because to my experience and the experience of a friend(mechanic),the pre sale service hadn't been carried out. ( the oil was black the filter canister had been leaking for a while and a fastener was missing from the engine tray,the oil life hasn't been reset on the dashboard and no entry made in the service book). I was advertised to have full service history, my service book is brand knew(no stamps whatsoever)considering the car has 38000 miles on it,you'd expect the first service to be stamped up. I was promised some fuel in the car on collection. The fuel light was on when I picked it up. On the positive side, the nice lady on the service desk has dealt with all of my issues in the 2 weeks since my purchase, apart from the oil issue which for peace of mind I changed myself. Strangely though I've covered 400 miles since and the oil is still pretty clean. After sales,pretty good. Sales promises,not so good.

My experience at Perrys Leyland Vauxhall was positive because a sales person came to the car whilst I was looking at it and provided the keys immediately for me to sit in and view the interior. The car was then removed out of the pack, which was a task in itself, and I was taken for a test drive. We negotiated regards the price and I was completely happy with all the information and prices given. The car was made ready within 3 days and I picked it up when conveniant for me. All in all the service I received at Perrys of Leyland took the hard work out of purchasing a new car. The car itself is exactly what I needed and I couldn't be happier. Its like going from a B&B with a drafty window and lumpy bed to a 5 star hotel with your own butler. I would have no problems in recommending Perrys of Leyland to family & freinds and will be using them myself for all future purchases.
