Buying my car at Colliers SEAT was a great experience because the Salesman Johnny Best was very friendly, polite and informative, He had already sold a car to my mother-in-law a month or so before, and advised me whilst I was there with her that he would give me a very good deal to which he kept his word, I was asked what spec and model I was looking for and advised on the best deal which I was extremely happy with. I was told that the car would be ready in one week but after telling Johnny that my car insurance was due for renewal in 5 days and I would not be looking to reinsure my old vehicle, he told me he would do his best to have the car ready by then, in which he kept to his word. I would definately recommend Colliers Seat and after showing one of my friends my new car and telling him about my experience, he is now considering going to the same dealership.

My experience at Colliers SEAT was not satisfactory because I stated when viewing the car that it had a bald tyre and I would like it replacing. The car was also slightly over my budget so the offer a full tank of fuel when I came to collect the car as another incentive to buy. When arriving for the car the tyre had not been replaced, just simply moved to another wheel! When questioned he advised it was not an advisory so they wouldn't change. His attitude was completely different to how it was before I had handed over £9,000, he just wanted me off the forecourt. He had agreed to change the tyre before I paid, now he wouldn't. I questioned how this wouldn't come up as an advisory as the tyre was clearly close to legal limit, he then got very defensive saying he was the boss of Seat, there was nothing he would do etc. this went on for 15 mins until I said I would take the car for an independent opinion. I went to 2 different tyre specialists who both advised the tyre should have been an advisory on the MOT and was very close to the legal limit. I also then realised the car had barely a quarter of a tank of fuel, unlike the full tank as promised. I contacted Colliers to advise that I wanted the tyre changing and a full tank of fuel, I then had to drive back to Birmingham on my day off (25 miles from my home) the manager didn't acknowledge me on arrival just simply took my keys from my hand and walked out. He then handed them back to say its all done and walked off. The whole experience really took the shine away from buying a new car, I chose a main dealer knowing it was safer and more reliable than buying privately, but I really wish I hadn't bothered. It was embarrassing and humiliating being treated with no respect after I had paid £9,000 for a car! Not an experience I would recommend anyone to go through

The experience at Colliers SEAT was fantastic because I was offered tax and a full tank of petrol but on collection it was only 6 months tax and half tank of petrol. My wife is ill and i didnt want to mention the tax and petrol when collecting the car, other wise i would have. Apart from that the sales man was very pleasant.
